About Our Speaker - Ep. 01
Siddharth (Sid) Mehta is the Managing Partner of Mehta & Padamsey, a Mumbai-based full service law firm which has been in existence for over a century. He focuses on growth, strategy, markets, regulatory and dispute resolution for businesses with an emphasis on cross-border transactions. Prior to moving back to Mumbai, he has worked extensively at international law firms in New York, San Francisco, Silicon Valley, London & Singapore. Siddharth has provided corporate counseling & legal assistance to Fortune 500 and other companies, including those in the hospitality and airline industries, industry organizations, NGOs & governmental organizations on a variety of matters, including the structuring country-specific entry strategies, investment opportunities, strategic initiatives, fund raising, strategies for dispute resolution & in negotiating on behalf of our clients on a variety of issues.
Siddharth is an independent director on the board of directors of a number of public listed and private companies. He is the President of Entrepreneurs’ Organization Navi Mumbai Chapter, a member of the Rotary Club of Bombay and one of the Co-Chairman of the Air Passengers’ Association of India. He is also passionate about art and antiquities law, and especially so, of travel.

Mr. Bharat Dabholkar has graduated with economics Honours , is a lawyer and business management graduate. As an advertising professional he has created campaigns for all the Amul products including Amul Butter, all the Parle brands like Frooti, Appy, Thums Up 500 and more, all teas of Tata Tea, Tata Namak, Good Knight, HIT, Bank of India, State Bank of India, Exim Bank, LIC, Loreal, Nestle and many more. He has won the gold trophy for excellence in advertising for 14 years in a row. Was the managing director of Publicis India, part of the second largest agency network in the world. Set up an advertising agency in Tanzania and Kenya and successfully ran it for 14 years. He has written and directed 33 English plays including Bottoms up, the longest running play in the history of Indian English theatre. He has acted in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Malyalam and Bhojpuri films. He wrote and directed India’s first Hinglish feature film, “God Only Knows”, wrote and directed Doordarshan’s first Hindi breakfast serial Dhamal. Conceptualized and shot the music video of late Shri Atalbihari Bajpayee ji’s famous poem “unki yaad karen”. In 2014 wrote the campaign line ‘ Abki Baar, Modi Sarkar.’

Ms. Nattasuda Mettaprasert is an accomplished diplomat with an impressive educational background and extensive experience in international relations. She holds an M.Phil. in Modern Middle Eastern Studies from Oxford University and a B.A. in Middle East Studies from the American University in Cairo, where she graduated with the highest honors. Ms. Mettaprasert currently serves as the Deputy Consul-General at the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Mumbai, India. Her previous roles include Counselor in the Department of ASEAN, First Secretary at the Royal Thai Embassy in Muscat, Oman, and Second Secretary in the International Security Unit at Thailand’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She has also contributed as a radio host for “The Muslim World” on Radio Saranrom. Mr. D. Sivanandhan, one of India’s most distinguished IPS officers, has left an indelible mark on law enforcement and governance during his 35-year career. Renowned for his strategic acumen, he eradicated organized crime, fostered anti-corruption initiatives, and bolstered public trust in policing. As Maharashtra’s Director General of Police and Mumbai’s Police Commissioner post-26/11, he modernized the force and established a world-class anti-terrorism infrastructure. With accolades like the President’s Distinguished Services Medal, he served in critical roles, including Joint Director of CBI and Deputy Director of Intelligence Bureau, where his leadership was instrumental in combating naxalism and dismantling underworld syndicates. Beyond policing, his corporate and social contributions are equally impactful. He advised the RBI on security, chaired Madras High Court’s SIT, and founded Mumbai Roti Bank, a hunger-relief initiative delivering 10.5+ million meals. Mr. Ajay Prakash, Founding President of IIPT India (International Institute for Peace through Tourism – India) and President, Travel Agents Federation Of India (TAFI), Ajay assumed the Global Presidency of IIPT in September 2023 in New York. The International Institute for Peace through Tourism (IIPT) which was founded in 1986 is a not for profit organization dedicated to fostering travel and tourism initiatives that contribute to international understanding, cooperation among nations, an improved quality of environment, cultural enhancement and the preservation of heritage, poverty reduction, reconciliation and healing wounds of conflicts; and through these initiatives, helping to bring about a peaceful and sustainable world. It is based on a vision of the world’s largest industry, travel and tourism, becoming the world’s first global peace industry and the belief that every traveler is potentially an “Ambassador for Peace.
Ajay has over 40 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry. As the President of the Travel Agents Federation of India (TAFI) and Director of the global World Travel Agents Associations Alliance (WTAAA), Ajay has participated in various tourism industry meetings across the world including addressing the European Tourism Forum in Bordeaux and often features on national television as an expert on aviation, travel & tourism. He is also the CEO of Nomad Travels, Mumbai, which he set up in 1980. An IATA approved agency, Nomad Travels specializes in inbound tourism into India. A graduate in History from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi and a Masters in English Literature from the Univ. of Rajasthan, Jaipur, Ajay is also a kite enthusiast and has organized international kite festivals across India with the slogan “One Sky One World.”
